David and Angela Cavill have been involved in the world of pets, especially dogs for over 50 years. They have bred dogs and owned cats, run dog shows, written books, been senior managers at the world's most famous rescue kennels, created and managed the Animal Care College, published newspapers and magazines - all related to dogs, cats and pet ownership. They formed their formal partnership, RTC Associates, in 1980 to manage their various enterprises and activities.
They launched the first of the National Registers of pet services in 2015 after becoming disillusioned with the way in which pet service website were swamped with advertising (much of it not pet related) and annoying 'pop-ups'.
